Monthly Egg Chew, Saturday, November 21, 9-11 a.m.

In advance of most of the snow, the monthly ARROW breakfast will take place on Saturday, November 21, 9-11 AM at the Classic Cup Cafe, 4389 Jackson Road, Ann Arbor. Anyone interested in ham radio (or eating breakfast, for that matter) is welcome to join us. Family members and friends are also welcome.

Holiday Brunch!

All is arranged for the annual Arrow Holiday Brunch!

It will be between 10:30 AM and 1:00 PM on Sunday, November 22. That’s the Sunday before Thanksgiving. There is plenty of parking.
The prices are as follow:
Adults and Seniors: $27.00
Children 6 thru 12: $13.00
Children <= 5: $4.00 As at last year's event, this can only be paid in CASH ONLY. We have to present ONE payment to the restaurant. We are sorry that there is not a senior rate this year. This brunch includes almost any breakfast item you can ask for plus several salads, a chicken dish, a fish dish and roast beef.

The next General Membership Meeting will be held this Wednesday, November 11th in room BE-172 (or BE-171, whichever is available) on the WCC campus. Doors open at 7pm for eyeball QSOs, with the business meeting starting at 7:30pm followed by the presentation at about 8pm.

This month’s presentation will be given by our Technical Coordinator, Jay Nugent WB8TKL. The TC’s primary duty is to maintain the club’s three repeaters on 146.96, 224.38, and 443.5 MHz. There have been recent updates and improvements made to these repeaters and Jay will be giving us a photo tour of the repeater site and discussing how these repeaters work as well as a report on their current operational status.

Visitors are always welcome. We hope to see you there.

Weekend Events: October 17-18, 2015

The monthly ARROW breakfast will take place on Saturday, October 17, 9-11 AM at the Classic Cup Cafe, 4389 Jackson Road, Ann Arbor. Anyone interested in ham radio (or eating breakfast, for that matter) is welcome to join us. Family members and friends are also welcome.

There are also two swaps this weekend. The first one is the Muskegon Color Tour Hamfest on Saturday, October 17 at the Fellowship Reformed Church, 4200 East Apple Avenue in Muskegon. It runs from 8 AM to noon and admission is $6.

The second swap is the Kalamazoo HamFest on Sunday, October 18, 8 AM to noon. Location is the Kalamazoo County Expo Center, 2900 Lake Street, Kalamazoo. $5 entry.

There are also two swaps this weekend. The first one is the GMARC Trunk Swap on Saturday, September 19 at the Packard Proving Grounds, 49965 Van Dyke Ave, Shelby Twp. There are no hours listed for this swap, but it probably runs from around 8 AM to 11 or noon.

The second swap is the Adrian Hamfest on Sunday, September 20, 8 AM to 1 PM. Location is the Lenawee County Fairgrounds, 602 N. Dean Street, Adrian. $5 entry.
