The monthly Egg Chew (breakfast) that we share with the Michigan QRP group will take place at the Classic Cup Cafe on Jackson Road between Zeeb and Wagner on Saturday, September 21 from 9 to 11 a.m. Friends and family members are welcome to join us. I hope to see you there!

Following breakfast, we will repeat the new activity we started last month: Saturday Morning Radio. This activity is designed to provide an opportunity for new hams to learn more about various aspects of the hobby. This month, the focus is field antennas. All hams with any type of portable antennas are invited to bring them, and anyone interested in viewing them, come along to see them. This will take place in or near the northeast corner of the Meijer parking lot at the corner of Jackson and Zeeb at 11 a.m.

The Maker Works Flea Market will be held Saturday September 7th from 11am thru 4pm. It will be held at 3765 Plaza Drive, Ann Arbor. This event is FREE.

The Hamley Finfest will take place Sunday September 8th. Doors open at 7:30 AM. See w8ft.org for additional information.

All hams with any type of mobile rig are invited to bring them, and anyone interested in seeing the various set-ups, come to see them demonstrated. The ARROW August meeting will take place on Wednesday, August 14 in room BE-172 at Washtenaw Community College. (If this room is in use, we will be in a nearby room.) We start gathering at 7:00 with the meeting actually starting at 7:30 PM.

The program for the meeting will be on “Audio Interfacing”. We will talk
about the theory and operation of the SCI-6 kit that we plan to build at
the September meeting. Come with questions.
