The monthly Egg Chew (breakfast) that we share with the Michigan QRP group will take place at the Classic Cup Cafe on Jackson Road between Zeeb and Wagner on Saturday, August 17 from 9 to 11 a.m. Friends and family members are welcome to join us. I hope to see you there!
Following breakfast, we have a new activity: Saturday Morning Radio. This activity is designed to provide an opportunity for new hams to learn more about various aspects of the hobby. This month, the focus is mobile radio installations. All hams with any type of mobile rig are invited to bring them, and anyone interested in seeing the various set-ups, come to see them demonstrated. This will take place in or near the northeast corner of the Meijer parking lot at the corner of Jackson and Zeeb at 11 a.m.
